Supplier Code of Conduct

1. Introduction

This Supplier Code of Conduct is a guide for Corintech suppliers in relation to ethical conduct in all interactions with colleagues, customers, suppliers and other business partners. It sets forth Corintech’s core values of honesty, integrity and respect, and how we expect our suppliers to share these principals by acting ethically throughout their business and supply chain. We believe that a strong alignment between our values and those of our suppliers will lead to a more sustainable and successful business relationship.

2. Compliance

We expect all our suppliers to adopt this Code. Suppliers must ensure all of their activities operate in full compliance with the laws, rules and regulations related to their operations, including those related to labour practices, modern slavery, human trafficking, safety regulations, environmental impacts and anti-money laundering. If any supplier is found to be non-compliant, through their own internal audits or ours, Corintech expects the supplier to implement an immediate corrective action.

3. Labour Practices

The use of forced or child labour is strictly prohibited in any stage of manufacturing. All work must be voluntary, and workers shall be free to leave work at any time or terminate their employment without penalty if reasonable notice is given as per worker’s contract. Suppliers must provide fair compensation and benefits to employees, and comply with applicable wage laws, including those related to minimum wages, overtime hours and legally mandated benefits. Employees shall be allowed at least one day off every seven days. This applies to all workers including temporary, migrant, student, contract, direct employees and any other type of worker.

4. Health and Safety

All suppliers must provide a safe and healthy work environment for all their employees. Suppliers must minimise work related injury and illness by identifying and assessing health and safety hazards, and by ensuring all machinery is properly maintained. Workers should receive occupational health and safety training, and if required, provided with personal protective equipment. All workers must have access to toilet facilities, potable water, food preparation, food storage and eating facilities.

5. Environmental Practices

All suppliers must recognise their environmental responsibility and minimise adverse effects on their local community, the environment, and natural resources. Suppliers should work towards sustainable practices including; reducing waste, reducing emissions and any release of pollutants, conserving natural resources and energy, and minimising the use of hazardous materials.

6. Ethics and Integrity

Suppliers are expected to uphold the highest standards of ethics. Suppliers shall have zero-tolerance for inappropriate gifts and have a robust policy to prohibit any form of bribery, corruption, extortion, embezzlement or any other unethical business practice.

Supplier employees must avoid situations involving an actual or potential conflict of interest so that the integrity of the Company is not brought into question.

Corintech expects all suppliers to compete fairly when buying or selling products or services. Suppliers should make independent pricing and marketing decisions and should not cooperate or coordinate activities with competitors.

Suppliers should have a whistle blowing procedure that protects confidentiality and anonymity so that concerns can be raised without fear of retaliation.

7. Human Rights

Suppliers must not engage in any practices that could violate human rights or cause harm or distress to any individual or group. Any form of harassment, discrimination, punishment, coercion or abuse, or the threat of any such treatment, is strictly prohibited.

Suppliers are encouraged to build respectful, mutually beneficial relationships with their workers and/or their representatives. Suppliers should operate open, two-way communications between management and workers to share ideas and concerns regarding working conditions and management practices without fear of discrimination, reprisal, intimidation, or harassment.

8. Supply Chain Responsibility

Suppliers must ensure that their suppliers and subcontractors also adhere to the same standards of conduct. Supplier business partners should acknowledge receipt of this Code or share their own Code that is substantially similar. Suppliers must monitor their operations to ensure compliance and take corrective action as needed.

Suppliers must adopt a policy and exercise due diligence on the source and chain of custody of tantalum, tin, tungsten and gold minerals

9. Data, Confidentiality and Intellectual Property

Suppliers must protect the data, confidentiality and intellectual property of Corintech and its customers. They must maintain strict security measures to protect sensitive information and data, and avoid any unauthorised use or disclosure. Suppliers must comply with privacy and information security laws and regulatory requirements. Suppliers must notify Corintech in the event of a data breach or potential threats to our intellectual property.

10. Reporting and Accountability

Accurate and reliable financial and business records are of critical importance. All Suppliers must ensure that submissions made to Corintech are complete and accurate. Suppliers are accountable for any violations of this Code and must take corrective action to address any issues promptly.
